DJ Gomi

DJ Gomi is a Japanese-born, NYC-based producer, songwriter, and DJ whose decadeslong career includes work with Beyoncé, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston. Known for his iconic Seasons of Love remix, Gomi trained under Haruomi Hosono (Yellow Magic Orchestra) and at Berklee College of Music before becoming Junior Vasquez’s main programmer at the legendary Sound Factory. He’s collaborated with top DJs like Roger Sanchez and David Morales and, in 2025, produced the new album for queer icon Kevin Aviance. Beyond the booth and studio, Gomi has contributed to music tech innovations with Pioneer and Roland.
